Safety and Security
The OBV Safety Catch Restrictor automatically restricts the window from opening regardless of sequence of operation, offering both safety and security. The locking bar can be released for full operation of the sash by keeping the push button depressed.

When the window is closed from the turn position, the limit opening function re-engages automatically.

Variants
The OBV Safety Catch Restrictor for timber and PVCu automatically restricts the window from opening more than 50-100mm and prevents the window from slamming shut. Our extensive range of angle packers is available to allow the restrictor to be fitted to PVCu windows.
To satisfy the demand of the market, Winkhaus have purpose designed and developed an adaptor to enable the fitting of the OBV Safety Catch Restrictor to aluminium casement and tilt-turn windows. A choice of fixing holes provides the most suitable screw positions depending profile design. Winkhaus can also supply purpose made jigs to ensure accurate and consistent drilling of fixing holes if required.
