Fire Door Systems Manager

In line with our growth strategy Winkhaus UK Ltd are expanding our technical team seeking a Fire Door Systems Manager to ensure our continued compliance with current and future compliance requirements of our timber and composite fire door systems.

Reporting to the Fire Door Product Manager the successful candidate will have an understanding of the current and evolving Fire, Smoke & Security doorset compliance requirements and come from a either a fabricator or systems house background.
Over the past decade the Winkhaus UK technical team have been involved in the creation and implementation of the latest standards and guidance for fire doorsets. All our fire doorset solutions are compliant with the latest DLUHC guidance and are triple Q Mark independent 3rd Party audited.

Support the Fire Door Product Manager in maintaining the 3rd Party Certification associated with fire, smoke and security fire doorsets.

Role responsibilities include:

- Work with Inter-departmental personnel, customers or suppliers both home and abroad to ensure that product specifications, quality and stock levels meet the demands of the company and its customers.

- Investigate customer specific fire door requirements.

- Support sales team with technically related customer visits.

- Seek out new markets and product opportunities

- Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts to keep abreast of market and product developments.

- Maintain and develop compliance scheme relationships ensuring reciprocal information regarding product and system developments.

Experience

The successful candidate will already have good knowledge of fire doorsets having worked for a fabricator, sold compliant fire door solutions or held a technical role associated with compliant fire door solutions.
The role is based from our offices in Kettering with some travel required to support continued compliance.
